The Basilica of the National Vow

One of our day trips in Quito involved visiting The Basilica of the National Vow in the Old Town.  It cost only $3 to get into the church and you can climb to the top of the church spires for magnificent panoramas, this involves braving many frighteningly steep staircases and ladders but it is well worth it. The tour was a bit light on information but rich in beautiful views of the city, so I will let my pictures speak for themselves.

Terrifying staircase.
