There have been a few humorous moments when someone will be
explaining something to us at the school in Spanish and they will speak for
about 45 seconds without break and then what they said will be translated for
us and it will be cut down to one sentence like “work together as a team” and
we will ask “is that all?” and there is no further translation. Every time this happens it reminds me
of this hilarious scene from the movie Lost in Translation:
